i saw pictures yesterday of a baby koala that got shot in the head, and had just lost its mother :( who in their right mind would shoot a koala? i mean, what kind of satisfaction can you get from harming these poor creatures? 

i hate animal cruelty, yet i’ve never actually stood up and done something about it myself.. yes, i donate what i can to various charities and have signed up to be a political animal, but is that enough? i feel like there’s so much i can contribute, but at the same time, i feel so helpless when i think about the enormity of the situation..
